The Pokemon Trading Card Game remains incredibly popular, with new cards and bundle arriving every few months. Looking ahead to next year, there are already several product slated to launch and available to preorder. Some of the new bundles arrive in February, while the Pokemon TCG: 2023 World Championship Decks arrive a bit later on March 1 Preorders for the World Championship Decks are live now at Best Buy, and they only cost $15. The decks will launch alongside the Paldea Adventure Chest, a collector's box set that looks pretty darn cool.

Pokemon TCG: 2023 World Championship Decks

$15

The 2023 World Championship Decks are available in four different formats--Colorless Lugia, Mew's Revenge, Psychic Elegance, and Lost Box Kyogre. All four offer a "card-for-card replica of an actual title-contender's deck" from this year's Pokemon Trading Card Game World Championships. That makes this set great for newcomers and veterans alike, as newbies won't have to struggle to build a competitive deck and veterans can use them to learn how to improve their builds.

Unfortunately, Best Buy doesn't let customers pick a specific deck. Instead, the retailer will send you one of the four decks. Ordering multiple could result in duplicates, though you could always exchange it for another. Other major retailers will likely have the 2023 World Championship Decks soon. And if you like the idea of owning a deck used by the best players, you can pick up decks from previous years at Amazon for around $15 each.

Preorder at Best Buy

Each bundle includes a 60-card set, 2023 World Championships booklet, pin, coin, and deck box. They also come with a playmat and poster, as well as a code card for Pokemon TCG Live. Considering each one costs just $15, that's a pretty solid offer.

If you want to snag a few additional cards, consider looking at the Pokemon TCG: Paldea Adventure Chest (which also releases March 1 and is up for preorder). It costs $50, but inside you'll find the following goodies:

  • 7 foil promo cards (Pikachu, Sprigatito ex, Pawmi, Pawmo, Pawmot ex, Tandemaus, and Maushold ex)
  • 1 sheet of tech stickers
  • 1 mini portfolio
  • 1 squishy toy Pikachu
  • 6 Pokemon TCG booster packs
  • Pokemon TCG Live code card

Lastly, you should che out the Pokemon TCG Stacking Tins, which cost just $15 and are up for preorder ahead of their March 1 debut. Along with serving as an artsy storage bin, they come with three Pokemon TCG booster packs and two sticker sheets.
